1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. EditText.app does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal details to use any of the tools.

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics data (e.g., page views, country-level traffic) through a privacy-respecting analytics provider. This data cannot be used to identify individuals.

2. Your text

Your text never leaves your device. All text processing on EditText.app — case conversion, word counting, encoding, generating Unicode fonts, and every other tool — is performed entirely using JavaScript running in your browser.

We do not transmit, log, cache, store, or analyze the text you enter into any tool. Your documents, code snippets, and personal content remain private.

3. Cookies

EditText.app uses minimal browser storage:

• Theme preference — We store your light/dark mode preference in localStorage under the key edittext-theme. This never leaves your device.
• No tracking cookies — We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

4. Third-party services

EditText.app loads fonts from Google Fonts. This is a standard web practice and Google's font service may log the font request (including your IP address). You can review Google's privacy policy for details.

No other third-party services (advertising networks, social login providers, payment processors) are integrated into EditText.app.

5. Data security

Because we do not collect or store your text or personal data, there is no database of user content to breach. The website is served over HTTPS. Our minimal analytics data is anonymized and aggregated.

6. Children's privacy

EditText.app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The tools are general-purpose utilities suitable for all ages. No registration is required to use them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of EditText.app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
